Reconstruction of Slovenska street

Slovenska street has always been of special importance due to its central position in Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. Its renovation project is based on contemporary concepts of public space design. The long street will become a large square, with priority given to public transport, pedestrians and cyclists. The eastern side of the street will feature a new alley of ash trees. A crucial element of the street is the pavement, which combines two colours and forms for a carpet-like effect. This contributes to a more comfortable, familiar atmosphere.
