Cemetery Srebrniče

The area of the cemetery in the forest is defined by two buildings, a smaller building with a florist, service spaces and offices at the main entrance, and a central farewell building with chapels. The farewell hall features three elements: in the axis of the walking path there is a covered portico leading to the hall. It opens into natural environment through glazed windows. There are green atriums between chapels, which represent the only contact with the outside world. The wooden screen, also placed on the facade of the service facility, separates the area of the central cemetery alley from the intimate grove in front of the chapels. A thin, translucent line can only be seen in the form of a shadow, and it ends with tubular bells.
