Punkl youth hostel

The Punkl Youth Hostel in Ravne na Koroškem is a low-energy building, entirely made of wood. The hostel was financed by the municipality in order to promote tourism in the area. The building is located next to the sports park, distinctive by its beautiful landscape features. The hostel building is a simple wooden box with subtracted and added volumes and its wooden construction hides nothing. The rest of the building is subordinated to basic volumetric composition and enables the natural path of light through the interior.
