Glamping Camp Danica

Five small wooden accommodations represent the first step in the renovation of the wider Camp Danica area in Bohinjska Bistrica, situated in an exceptional landscape at the confluence of the Sava Bohinjka and the Bistrica rivers, at the entrance to the lower valley opening toward Lake Bohinj. The cabins are positioned on a terrace beneath a rocky outcrop, a remnant of a glacial moraine, and through their contemporary design reinterpret the traditional wooden architecture characteristic of the Bohinj cultural landscape. Elevated above the ground and constructed from solid interlocking timber panels, clad in charred spruce and protected with pine resin, they integrate subtly into the surroundings while opening new perspectives on contemporary living at the intersection of architecture and nature.
