Castle Trails
The Castle Trails form a network of new thematic footpaths around the Celje Castle and on the slopes of its hill, and connect to the existing Pelikan’s Path. Rest areas and thematic points (observation platform, children’s playground, geological points) are lined along the new (forest, geological, mountain…) paths, located in carefully selected places. The trails’ purpose is to encourage the inhabitants of Celje and its visitors to experience the space on a deeper level and get to know both the nature and the culture of this exceptional area.
