Revitalisation of Vila Langer and its surroundings
Vila Langer at 29 Mladinska Street is a cultural monument of local significance, built in 1843 as the summer residence of glassmaker Josip Langer. Due to its deteriorated condition, the Municipality of Maribor initiated a comprehensive revitalisation of the building and its surroundings. The project preserves valuable heritage and reopens the villa to the public as an open, accessible and connecting space, complementing the renewal of the Ljudski vrt area and enriching the city’s social and urban life.
