House for more than two

A young couple wanted their first child to be born and raised in a pleasant, natural environment. Their home sits on a sunny plot, with a slope on the northern side, while the huge trees on the southern side were destroyed in an ice storm in 2014. Due to the sloping terrain, the house is partially embedded in the hillside, with bedrooms, bathrooms and the garage on the upper floor and living quarters below. A two-level glazed entrance at the rear side with an exterior staircase leads to the lower floor. A service unit built in a secluded yard adds to the composition of volumes.
