The Marathoners´House

The house features a striking charcoal – black Shou Sugi Ban façade and interiors clad in rough wooden planks. A colorful rammed earth wall serves as a backdrop for the living room and acts as thermal mass. A unique bathroom, called “The Poo Chapel,” resembles a house within a house. The property includes a restored wooden sailing boat and a custom – designed Finnish sauna perched over a ridge, supported by a concrete column. The house, playful yet functi onal, supports an active, creative lifestyle.
