Renovation of the main square in Novo mesto

In the renovation of the main square in Novo mesto architects aim was to upgrade the square’s ambiance and to recognize it as something unique. They focused on eliminating the height differences in cross-sections and the square’s longitudinal line. In some areas, they reached almost a meter in height. This gave the square a completely different dimension and brought its pavement close to the entrances of the surrounding buildings. The unexpected discovery of baroque paving allowed us to incorporate its characteristics in our paving pattern design. The onsite presentation awaits a more comprehensive decision.
