Open air auditorium at Minorite monastery

The exterior of the Minorite monastery in Maribor has been converted into an outdoor theatre. A reinforced concrete slab with a corbel construction covers a total surface area of over 300 m2 and features 600 seats. It connects with a stage with a stage tower. The roof of the auditorium is also of corbel construction, as a symmetrical response to the roof over the inner atrium of the monastery, over the closed part of the theatre. Under the auditorium shell, there is a service space and a covered bar. The area of the former monastery park and cemetery is landscaped.
