Observation deck Kapitelj
The project encompasses a new stairway, intermediate platforms and landings in the bell tower of St. Nicholas’ Cathedral in Novo mesto. The entrance into the facility is through the north gate of the church. The walking surfaces of the stairway and the platforms is made of oiled oak, while the structure is made of metal. 126 steps with three intermediate landings lead to the observation deck, located 24 m from the ground, at the level of the bells. It offers a 360o view of the sky and provides a beautiful panorama of the entire Novo mesto.
