House Rožna

This family home is situated on a narrow plot just outside the centre of Ljubljana. Built in brick and concrete, its living spaces on the ground floor feature large glazed surfaces which communicate with the surroundings and the bedrooms on the first floor. A penthouse was added on the terrace roof. Sliding wooden shadings add a special feature and functionality due to the western exposure. Dark colours of the facade serve as a balance against the diversity of volumes.
