Zero energy house Dulc – Solinterra
This home is located in the rural environment of Škocjan as part of a larger farm, and with other, partially renovated buildings forms an inner courtyard. It represents a new home for a five-member family. Its design is derived from a modified rectangular shape with accentuated shifts with glazings. The house features a massive black ridge roof with large overhangs. The concept is complemented by an innovative system of heating, cooling and ventilation by the use of solar and geothermal energy Solinterra. The house opens to the south with large glazed surfaces. The coarse white facade features vertical wooden battens.
