Slovenj Gradec Square renovation

The renovation of the square did not call for a radical change, just for a unified design which would emphasize its monumentality. The small town scale has been preserved, along with different self-contained spaces, which are marked with different pavement patterns. The church is a unifying element, which simultaneously separates the square from the park. With clearly defined green islands, the park has become more closely connected to the town center, while its sculptures have gained a much better presentation.
