Two-apartment house in Trnovo

The two-apartment building is a reconstruction and an extension of an older single-family house. The basic, rectangular geometrical volume of the house with an ordered grid of openings together with the height of the building crown determines the street facade of the building and blends it with the street, protected as a residential heritage area. The terrace level is set back from the crown on all sides and has a modern design. The round external staircase opening to the courtyard, represents the communication core and indicates the vertical division of the house. Open balconies with exposed construction and transparent railings communicate with the outside space of the garden and expand the living space on all floors.
