Rog Centre Creative Hub

The former Rog Factory has reopened to the public in the autumn of 2023, this time as Centre Rog. The building used to be a bicycle factory, and before that a tannery and a typewriter manufacture. The revitalisation of the existing building comprises 9.000 m2. The new programme is community-oriented with a primary dedication to production and, above all, creativity, with an emphasis on manufacturing, urban handicrafts, applied arts and design, as well as architecture. The proposed solution of the architectural office BAX, co-founded by the Slovenian architect Boris Bežan, won the public urban-architectural competition held by the Municipality of Ljubljana (MOL) in 2006.
