Wine cellar Batič

The wine cellar which lies on the edge of Šempas is a reconstruction of a barn building. The existing prefabricated concrete building was added a cellar. The underground part of the basement is intended for aging wine in wooden barrels (barrique) and is designed monumentally like the Spanish wine cathedrals. On the ground floor there is a wine lab and service rooms. The niches on the façade and the main entrance represent vaulted passages, typical elements of local village streets.
