The Štanjel Castle- north-western part of the lower palace interior
The project at Štanjel Castle includes the renovation of the interior, located in the north-western lower part of the castle. The main guideline was to clearly showcase the original structures, separately from the new additions. After the restoration of the outer cladding, the interior was reconstructed (renovation of existing structures, plumbing and wiring, final finishes) and new features were created: a wine shop, the main entry point, knight’s hall, and a museum.
