Bivouac on Skuta

High mountain buildings are a challenge for architects, designers and statics experts. Extreme conditions with high winds, snow, sun, storms and difficult terrain demand special architectural forms and constructions. A bivouac is a primal form of a building which calls for a modest design, subordinated to its function of offering overnight shelter in limited space. This bivouac was first constructed in a workshop, then separated into three modules and transported to the mountain by helicopter.
