Landscape design and Kempinski Palace Hotel Portorož

Kempinski Palace Portorož hotel and park, a 1910 cultural monument, was the country’s eyesore for 18 years. After an intensive five year renovation, it embodies a new beginning in the region. The garden design celebrates historical significance, emphasizes carefully restored landscape elements and intertwines old and new. Composed of six different landscaped areas (historical park, roof garden, interior garden, new water promenade, a pool area and a spa garden) it expresses history, present and future.
