Agape Pavilion

The project of the Agape Pavilion emphasises the quality of the existing atrium between the church and Plečnik House. A discreet building is designed as a multi-purpose cultural and social space. The idea was to establish a respectful relationship with the surroundings: a concrete wall is overgrown with vines and the mirrored ceiling reflects the scenery below – a beautiful metaphor of Heaven on Earth. The openings, also reflected in the ceiling’s surface, form a symbolic image of the holy cross.
