Rajhenburg Castle

Rajhenburg castle has dominated for centuries over the river Sava. Its renovation, together with archaeological and construction investigation, uncovered very important elements dating back to 12th to 16th century. These were preserved and restored to enrich the architecture of the castle and to enhance our knowledge of this prominent example of Slovenian castles. It is now a part of the Krško cultural centre.
