Protective cover of the ruins of Saint Gertrude’s church

The protective cover of the ruins of this ancient church is a simple yet highly original construction. The steel supporting structure on five foundations carries a construction of wooden rafters designed with a rising perspective. Creative use of basic construction materials and elements adds a secular character to this work.
