Outdoor Auditorium at SNG Nova Gorica
The Slovenian National Theatre in Nova Gorica has built an outdoor auditorium next to the theatre building in the centre of Nova Gorica for outdoor performances. The auditorium’s structure is architecturally and functionally connected to the existing theatre building. In addition to the auditorium with a covered stage, the programme includes accompanying spaces in the basement (dressing rooms, restrooms, makeup room…), public restrooms, technical facilities, a cafe with associated spaces and a terrace, and all the necessary communications. In the next phase, the auditorium will be covered with a metal roof providing shade.
