House R

House R is simple and abstract. Its elements express its double condition: the shape of the house resembles a holiday cottage, and simultaneously a geometrical abstraction. Windows and doors are only visible when needed. When the house is not in use, they disappear against the blurred surface. Wood as natural material becomes increasingly more grey over the years, and the roof which protects the house against the weather is thin and almost invisible.
