house “around the corner”
This home, built in a set of three houses, was in need of renovation because of its poor functionality. The renovation consisted in adding a 3-meter wide volume, partially built on consoles, containing a staircase which improved the spatial, formal and functional properties of the house. Its rooms were opened vertically, which allowed the light to pour in and added new views. The entrance was moved to the street level, first floor gained an exit to a large terrace and a garden, and a new terrace was added to the roof.
