Demonstration and education center Knauf Insulation Experience Center
The Knauf Insulation Experience Center (KIEXC), located in Škofja Loka, is owned by Knauf Insulation Company. The building was designed from the very beginning to demonstrate the company’s pioneering approach to the future of sustainable construction.
KIEXC is the first newly built building in Slovenia to be awarded the platinum DGNB certificate. It is also a pilot project for the European Union framework for sustainable construction, called Level(s), and Slovenia’s first certified Active House.
