Bird watching observatory

The bird watching observatory with an experience platform is located by the Dravinja educational path, which is part of the vision of the development of the municipality of Poljčane towards educational tourism. The basic idea was to create an outdoor classroom with views of the nature surrounding it. In the series of wooden lamellas, which are designed to resemble reed plants, there are interactive didactic tools for playful learning. On the platform, which is raised above the floodplain of the Dravinja, thematic carousels of animals and plants continue in the rhythm of the lamellas. Learning through play with a pleasant walk in the nature is aimed at motivating children and the young at heart to explore and observe the world around them.
