Seed, Nursery and Forest protection Centre
The project introduces a new laboratory building into the sensitive landscape of Rožna dolina within the Slovenian Forestry Institute complex. Surrounded by forest, the design focuses on a restrained integration into the park setting and respect for the existing Ravnikar’s building. The new structure is conceived as a compact volume, set back from the original architecture and separated by a green buffer. Its calm exterior and clear, flexible interior layout support functionality, adaptability and a lasting connection with the natural environment.
