the fresco apartment

The renovation of an old apartment in a small 19th century building was mostly about uncovering historical layers and combining them with the modern lifestyle. Minimalist equipment is placed alongside ceiling frescoes and wooden beams. The floor plan is mostly open, allowing better illumination and flow of the space. Only the bathroom is divided from the rest of the space. The colour scheme is mostly in earthy tones, which allows the yellow velvet sofa to stand out and occupy a central position.
