Tajfun assembly and storage hall

The Tajfun factory is located in the heart of the remote region of Kozjak and is one of the largest producers of forestry equipment (winches and splitters) in the world. The new storage facility extends all over the irregularly shaped plot. The idea of the project was to follow the typology and morphology of individual houses in the nearby village and link the new building with the existing factory. The building follows the principle of a spiral snail shell rotating around the corners and opening itself towards the courtyard. The opening has become the entrance and a carport for trucks. The crystalline form building is embedded into the surrounding greenery.
