Skatepark Maribor

The area was conceptually divided into three parts: skateboard ramps, an external arrangement with new benches and paths, and an intermediate connecting link – the club building.
The largest skate park in Slovenia is the first made with the “SHOTCRETE” technique of in situ concrete pouring.
It follows international guidelines and hosts international sporting events.
The design is based on the natural features of the terrain, preserving the existing trees. It is located in the green belt along Pekrski potok. The project was awarded the German Design Award 2021 and BigSEE 2020 award.
