Korean bunsik bistro Suwon

The project of this Korean bistro opened some very tough questions regarding its idea and place. Combining complex Korean culture with Slovenian environment was the main motive. But the main problem was actually the space which lacked daylight. How could Korean culture, based on a very strong sense of nature, be interpreted in a place like that?
Stone, wood, clay and soil were the elements which inspired the image of the bistro, while old Slovenian crafts were able to give Suwon its soul.
