House Krč

The house is an example of local architecture, with its narrow shape, wooden coating, parallel layout with the terrain and its overhangs. The entrance is from the upper side of the plot. The view of the valley of Kokra and the Kamnik Alps suggested placing the living quarters on the upper floor, with large glass openings. The base of the house is made of concrete, while the rest uses a steel construction and prefabricated wooden panels. The house is energetically autonomous and not dependent on public utilities. It has its own water source, a wastewater treatment plant, photovoltaic cells, a heat pump with a heat exchanger, and ventilation with energy recovery. The house is still under construction.
