The Pelikan Photo House
The Pelikan Photo House is a place that writes the entire history of photography, a town house with a glass studio, purpose-built in 1899, where Josip Pelikan, the 20th century chronicler from Celje, lived and worked. In recent years, the Celje Museum of Contemporary History has been responsible for the presentation of this rare heritage. The process culminated in the final renovation of the house in 2024. Together with the collective Zgradbazamisli, they have designed the renovation with the feeling that “the master has just gone out for a snack”.
