Extension of the primary school in Mengeš

Between the dense residential area of Mengeš to the southeast and its forested hinterland to the northwest lies the Mengeš primary school. This year, the school’s older wing was complemented by a new extension designed by Tria Studio. The new design focuses on sustainability and the creation of a pleasant educational environment. The extension does not merely address functional shortcomings, but enriches the school with key educational spaces, the warmth of wood, openness, and a contemporary character that together form the new identity of the school building.
