Day care center INCE Mengeš
Day-care center INCE provides care, guidance and employment for people with moderate or severe mental handicap. The building is located on an elongated plot by a creek and its design is reminiscent of the way old farmhouses were organized, with a yard by the road and a more private garden by the creek. Using traditional Slovenian construction elements, such as wood, balcony, overhangs and a dual pitched roof, the size of the building is attenuated and brought closer to the scale of the surrounding houses. The interesting shape of the roof rounds off the building.
