Center of Slovenian Istria Ankaran

The Center of Slovenian Istria in Ankaran is a health and educational center for children and adults with special needs. The architects were faced with the difficult task of making a meaningful, functionally demanding hospital care program within the pre-determined amorphous geometry of the building. The amoeba-shaped floor plan is wrapped with an unpretentious, simple, monochrome and evenly spread facade.
