CAFE FGG

Behind the Faculty of Civil and Geodetic Engineering stands a lamella, which is a listed building (Edvard Ravnikar, 1969). The new content minimally changes the external appearance and internal layout. The restrictions have generated an architectural approach that takes into account the context of the space, is respectful, with innovative solutions and recycling. The interior concept is based on the heritage of the features in the main faculty building, to which the lamella belongs. Therefore, the ambience is not generic but relates to the content of the faculty’s study programs and rounds off the project into a meaningful whole.
