Beyond the Construction Site

The long-closed construction site along Resljeva Street is being transformed into a community space intended for gardens, socializing, ecology, education and culture. The aim of the project is to examine and present the potential of urban degraded areas and their revaluation through temporary and community interventions as well as to promote participatory spatial planning and urban ecological gardening. At present, “Beyond the construction site” is being transformed into 40 gardening plots by a hundred participants who also create events. They want the project to be transferred to other similar sites in the city as an example of managing the degraded urban area from the grassroots up.
