Tivoli Castle
The gradual renovation of Tivoli Castle began with the new visitors’ reception and service areas. A reception area with a small shop is located on the ground floor, while the central toilets and cloakrooms are located in the basement. A new lift provides unhindered access to all areas. The project is based on the unification of the historic interior volume and the presentation of the paintings, which have been obscured by whitewash for decades. The newer interventions are restrainedly integrated into the unified primary volume.
