Apartment building Brdo

The apartment building Brdo is divided into two building volumes, which function as an independent villa blocks with a total of 16 apartments. The floor plan of the building is 2K+F+1+Po, two towers are placed on the common basement floor, which forms the base of the building. The steeply sloping terrain allows direct access to the terrain from the two basement floors with garages and bike racks, and from the ground floor, where the apartments are located. The apartments on each floor have a unique floor plan, which is reflected in the dynamic façade with offset window openings. The façade is ventilated, made of vertical aluminum C profiles of various dimensions and accentuated mezzanine panels. Single-pitched roofs on the highest floors allow for high ceilings and 4m-high glazing next to the larger loggias, which let the maximum amount of light into the largest apartments with a cut-off upper part.

The project is located in Ljubljana.
