Renovation of Velenje regional gallery

The library was designed in 1973 by architect Adi Miklavc. When it was converted into a gallery, the original plan was preserved, as well as the basic architectural elements which resemble sculptures. Energetic renewal did not influence the shape and size of the building. Only the essential elements were added, such as a lift, fire escape and storage, and all the installations were renovated. The surroundings were also refurbished, making the building more accessible, while designing a useful outside exhibition space.
