Renovation of the Vodnik Homestead
The renovation of the Vodnik Homestead makes it more publicly accessible and user-friendly. The new main auditorium is arranged on the groundfloor of the building “At the stone table” and can be used also as a gallery or a bookstore with a coffee shop, connected to the tree-shaded area outside. The new inside-outside stage can be used for open air events. The auditorium in the main building’s attic is slightly smaller, but preserves its homely ambiance. Access is improved with a new staircase and a modern reinterpretation of the original “gank” balcony. The design of the stage and the balcony is minimalistic, drawing a clear distinction to the renovated original buildings.
