Market Ptuj
The renovation of the Ptuj marketplace was planned in dialog with the structure of the historic part of the city. The new paving of the open space follows the silhouette of the former barracks building while the new covered market building is positioned along the perimeter wall of the church plateau.
The color pallete of the intervention follows that of the roofs of the surrounding buildings. Together with the new urban furniture and landscape design it forms a set of varied urban environments.
