House in the meadow by the forest

The house is located slightly away from the village, in a meadow bordered by woods along its entire western and southern edge. It is located at the northernmost part of the plot, where its L-shape creates a passage between the road and the garden. It consists of two separate building volumes connected by a single roof. The larger of the two volumes is designed for living space, with large glass surfaces opening onto the garden. It is connected to the smaller one by a wooden bridge, where the ceramic design studio, the office and the service area are located. The house is prefabricated, made of cross laminated panels (XLAM). The studio has a fully visible wood panel structure, while in the living area the walls have a plasterboard cladding for the plumbing and a visible wood ceiling.
