House in Alps

This house in the village of Stara Fužina combines the pragmatism of Bohinj villagers and bold architectural solutions. A new home for a local lady needs to be elegant. The paper thin roof is only traditional in its appearance. Larch wood window frames around large glass surfaces enhance views of the glacier valley and the old village. The fireplace is a part of the cement wall which is in sharp contrast with the wooden interior design. Carefully chosen materials and furniture design bring modern lifestyle to traditional surroundings.

House is located in Stara Fužina.
