Hotel Galeria River
An old five-room town apartment was transformed into a hotel with six double rooms, two suites and a reception. All the historical elements of the building were preserved. The distinction between old and new is accentuated by the minimalistic furnishings. A special challenge was to insert new bathrooms, mini kitchens and closets, as well as modern soundproof doors and windows. Some of the old doors and windows were also used. Former dark spaces of the palace are now bright and white, and decorated by large photographs by the hotel owner, who is a professional architecture photographer.
