Community urban eco garden

The client’s desire was to provide 64 gardens of approx. 100 m2, the installation of garden sheds for storing tools, a common building and a children’s playground. The area, 1,1 ha, is divided into eight gardens, which share one common shed. The trails are connect by the “promenade”, which includes planting of shrubs, benches for rest and flower beds. On the outside of the garden fence are fruit trees, whose fruits can be freely picked up by walkers and strollers along the bakery stream. The center of meetings is a community facility made of impregnated wood, which stands on pillars; in addition to the lecture hall, there is also a covered terrace with pergola and sanitary facilities. The garden is flooded with rainwater from the roofs of buildings. In the northern part of the area there are also predicted patch for disabled people, which are raised by 60 cm for easy processing.
