Attic Sorško polje

This apartment for a young couple is inserted into the empty attic of a typical Slovenian single-family house from the 1980s. The volume of the attic under the symmetrical gable roof is filled with eastern and western light through glazed gables. The apartment is designed as a large open living area, over which the “programme islands” of the kitchen, dining room, living room and home office are arranged. They are surrounded by wooden cladding, which equips them with appliances and closets as well as creates a filter to the separated bedrooms.

The apartment is located in Škofja Loka.
